Grasmere, #theplacetobe this Christmas

In fact, Grasmere isn’t just the place to be during Christmas but even a month before. Grasmere Welcomes Christmas is an event in the Lake District village of Grasmere where the festivities begin.

This 2 day weekend event starts on Saturday November 28th with the whole village supporting it including residents, shops, cafes, restaurants and accommodation. They’ll be fun for the whole family with Santa’s and a fairy grotto and treasure trail for the little ones along with storytelling by Taffy Tomas. Then choir, brass band, clogg dancing and late night shopping for the adults.

Combine what’s on with the setting and what a start this could be to the 2015 Christmas celebrations, a getaway as well as entertainment and the chance to do some gift shopping.
